I grew up around the world and country: Japan, Germany, Oklahoma, South Carolina,Texas, and my parents finally retired in Wenatchee, Washington which is where I graduated form high school.

How did you come to newlife?
Neighbors invited us after we moved into our new house and we tried it out. We were looking for a new church, loved it here and never left.
Favorite color
Dark Red/Burgundy.
Favorite food
Too hard to choose from – but I’ll narrow it to 3: Dark Chocolate, Gourmet Food (no raw meat, please), Silver City’s Onion Rings.
What is your role at newlife?
I do admin (behind the scenes) – I help with systems, events, Fellowship One (the database), and volunteers ………
What is the best part about your role?
I love being able to work from home and work with such an awesome group of people playing around on my computer, working numbers, people and organizing things so that the mission moves forward.
What is your favorite place on the earth?
The beaches up here on the Puget Sound side (point no point or camp warden) the combination of the mountains, the water, and the beach – awww….a piece of heaven on earth.
What makes you laugh?
My boys, and dry sense of humor things.
What makes you cry?
God-moment stories; people’s kindness towards our family.
If you could be on any reality television show, which one would it be?
Hell’s Kitchen, I love to cook and learn something whenever I watch the cooks in action.
What do you count as the greatest invention of the last 100 years? Why?
Hmm the personal computer with high speed internet; for me these two coupled together have allowed me to learn so much about my son’s different learning, to work from my house, communicate with my husband when is at work, allowed me to serve in a way that fits my family, and to even head back to school, (to name a few)…if I had to do without it – major adjustment time.
