Family info

I have an amazing family my mom Terry Porter is a huge inspiration to me. My dad Sid Porter is the reason I came to newlife and a total genus. I have two sisters, the oldest is Chandra who is a CPA in Boise, and the middle sister in the family is Marla who is currently pursuing her masters at Harvard. I’m the baby.

How did you come to newlife?

I moved from Idaho just a few days after graduating high school and I visited newlife, it changed the way I thought about Jesus: I realized he liked me and didn’t just want to put more rules in my life.

Probably Mexican although I am a lover of all foods.

Role at newlife

I am the Kid’s Pastor I work with the kindergarten to sixth graders.

What is the best part of your job

I get to hang out with awesome kids, students, and adults and teach them how to become like Jesus. Could anything be better!!?

What is your favorite place on earth

Fiji… I haven’t been there yet but when I go it is going to be amazing. PS – if you feeling nice and want to buy me an airline ticket I won’t say no.
